Everyone experiences life events and transitions in life that can be difficult to navigate. My belief is that within a therapeutic collaborative relationship, you can achieve true life change.
Many look at psychotherapy as a passive process – you talk, I listen, something magical happens and things change for you. I look at therapy quite differently – therapy is a dynamic, powerful process, much like a waterfall.
Water rushing over rocks and earth, over time, erodes those rocks and carves out a new path for the water to follow, creating the waterfall. Carving these new paths, eroding those rocks and barriers that stand in the way of change, is difficult, and requires strength and fierceness, something I see in the faces of my clients every day as we go on this journey, together.
I have a passion for building relationship and connection. Our work together helps you connect with yourself, to identify the needs and desires you have, the changes you wish to make, then further to improve relationships with yourself and others to help you in your journey toward change.
Together, we will identify the rocks standing in your way, whether those are long-standing behavior patterns, trauma from the past, dysfunctional relationships or yet unidentified challenges, and we will be fierce together in seeing what needs to be seen to carve a different way. Healing can happen along the way, and my ultimate goal is to join with you on your journey toward the change you desire.
I look forward to meeting you and starting our journey together.
